Nocturnal Pokemon sessions with the windows wide open to recover from the summer heat.
Building a team that feels so good and then seeing it fall from 1995 back to 1700.

Is it because of the fever? Is it because the Meta adapting to Metagross? Is it because I have neglected my sleep in order to get more games in after the kids fell asleep? Not playing Japanese peak times? Was me rising to 1995 with Azumarill a fluke? Or was the losing bad luck? The most important decision you make when playing Pokémon Champions is the second in which you decide to queue. For it decides who you will match up against.
I’ll never forget the single firefly flying by the window. I’ll never forget clicking Sword Dance against unaware Skeleridge. Because if you are unaware, you don’t care. You just don’t give a fuck about this dragon doing a funny dance. So instead I dusted off my team from last season and made it to a 2011 rating.
Anyway. Technical details about the team. Tips and tricks that will take your Pokémon game to the next level.
The team has three secrets:
Primarina has Misty Terrain because I hate the Hippo.
Lopunny is Adamant with double priority in Fake Out and Mach Punch because this allows to win the lead matchup against both scarf and sash Meowscarda.
And Rotom Heat is Pasho Berry to surprise kill MegaStarmie.

That’s all I have to say for now. I need to give my nervous system some time to rest before getting into Pokémon again.
